Vegan Turmeric Dinner Rolls are an all-rounder when it comes to bread recipes for your Thermomix. With a golden-yellow hue, soft and semi-sweet, and staying power (fresh for about a week) there is very little you won't love about them. When you're gathering your ingredients you'll see that they're packed full of spices, which will give hints of flavors to come. Feel free to adjust how sweet you want them by lowering the sugar amount too, but make sure to include just a touch so that the spices will shine through.

INGREDIENTS


  • Bread flour icon

  • Raw cane sugar icon

  • Coconut milk icon

  • Ground turmeric icon

    0.93fl oz/25g (1¾ tbsp)
  • Dried yeast icon

METHOD


  1. Add bread flour, raw cane sugar and coconut milk to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Cook and let cool - approx 3 min, 80°C, speed 3
  4. Then add bread flour, ground turmeric, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, black pepper, sea salt, extra virgin olive oil, coconut milk and dried yeast to the dough
  5. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 6
  6. Knead - approx 4 min, dough
  7. Flour a clean work surface
  8. Transfer dough to work surface
  9. Shape into balls
  10. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  11. Transfer dough to baking sheet and cover
  12. Brush
  13. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  14. Prove until doubled - approx 2 hr
  15. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  16. Serve
