Our Sunbutter Hemp Protein Cups are the answer, as they are nut-free and full of goodness, whilst remaining tasty enough for kids to swallow whole. Maca powder (aka Peruvian Ginseng) is filled with incredible benefits, such as one ounce of it having 133% of the RDI of Vitamin C. In less than an hour you can have 12 of them sitting in the fridge for when the kids come home from school.

INGREDIENTS


  • Sunflower seeds icon
    Sunflower seeds
    7.05oz/200g (about 1½ cups)
  • Coconut oil icon
    Coconut oil
    8.82fl oz/240g (1⅛ cups)
  • Coconut sugar icon
    Coconut sugar
    6.35oz/180g (about 1 cup)
  • Maca icon
    Maca
    0.71oz/20g (about 2 tbsp)
  • Lucuma powder icon
    Lucuma powder
    1 tsp (0.17oz/5g)
  • Hemp seeds icon
    Hemp seeds
    1 tbsp (0.29oz/8g)
  • Sea salt icon
    Sea salt
    1 pinch
  • Vanilla bean paste icon
    Vanilla bean paste
    2 tsp (0.38oz/11g)
  • Chocolate chips icon
    Chocolate chips
    about ¼ cup (1.50oz/43g)
  • Sunflower seeds icon

METHOD


  1. Prepare a clean muffin pan
  2. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Add sunflower seeds to the baking sheet
  4. Cook - 10 min, 200°C
  5. Remove and let cool
  6. Add coconut oil, coconut sugar, maca, lucuma powder, hemp seeds, sea salt and vanilla bean paste to the TM5 bowl
  7. Transfer seeds to TM5 bowl
  8. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  9. Blend - approx 3 min, 37°C, speed 8
  10. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  11. Divide mixture between muffin pan
  12. Keep tapping the tin very firmly on the bench until the mixture levels off and becomes glossy
  13. Decorate with chocolate chips and sunflower seeds
  14. Freeze until solid - 30 min
  15. Store in plastic container until needed
