This vibrant prawn curry will spice up a midweek dinner with exotic flavors and subtle heat. This simple recipe it opens the door to the joys of Thai cuisine in an accessible way – it's neither too spicy nor too involved. Using your Thermomix for this recipe gives back some valuable time otherwise spent dedicated to preparation.   • Thai red curry paste icon

METHOD


  1. Add onion, garlic clove and extra virgin olive oil to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Chop - approx 5 sec, speed 7
  4. Then add Thai red curry paste to the TM5 bowl
  5. Sauté - approx 5 min, varoma, speed 1
  6. Then add tamarind paste and prawns to the TM5 bowl
  7. Cook - approx 5 min, varoma, reverse gentle stir
  8. Then add tomato to the TM5 bowl
  9. Cook - approx 5 min, varoma, reverse gentle stir
  10. Then season with sea salt, black pepper and cilantro
  11. Serve
