Thermomix Pumpkin Seed Salsa

Whilst this Pumpkin Seed Salsa isn't visually astounding, it packs a punch when it comes to taste. Deceptively spicy, the pumpkin seeds give it a misleading seaweed color that covers up the tomato base and fresh chillis. Bring this salsa to co-star in any Mexican recipe - be it enchiladas, quesadillas, or even as a dipping sauce for tortilla chips. A unique sauce to have in your fridge that proves there is more than meets the eye!

  1. Pre-heat broiler - high heat
  2. Add pumpkin seeds and fresh chili to the TM5 bowl
  3. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  4. Blitz until thickened - approx 30 sec, speed 8
  5. Add roma tomato to a clean baking sheet
  6. Grill until softened and let cool - 12 min, high heat
  7. Transfer tomatoes to TM5 bowl
  8. Add green onion and sea salt to the TM5 bowl
  9. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 8
  10. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  11. Pour extra virgin olive oil into the TM5 bowl while machine is running
  12. Serve
