This Pot Set Yoghurt is a recipe for those who are particular about textures – it's much firmer than store bought yoghurts. It makes for a wonderful canvas for granola, muesli and of course our Passionfruit Coulis recipe. Prep time is minimal, and cooking time requires only to place in the oven and wait, so there's almost nothing holding you back from using your Thermomix to get the perfectly dense and creamy yoghurt. The ideal ingredient for a light and wholesome breakfast.

INGREDIENTS


  • Whole milk icon
    Whole milk
    38.80oz/1100g (38.80oz/1100g)
  • Powdered milk icon
    Powdered milk
    1.76oz/50g (about ½ cup)
  • Whole milk yogurt icon
    Whole milk yogurt
    1.76oz/50g (about 3½ tbsp)

METHOD


  1. Pre-heat oven - 45°C
  2. Add whole milk and powdered milk to the TM5 bowl
  3. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  4. Heat - approx 15 min, 80°C, speed 4
  5. Let cool - 50°C
  6. Clean 2 clean jars
  7. Heat oven - 45°C
  8. Add whole milk yogurt to the milk mixture
  9. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 4
  10. Transfer milk mixture to 2 jars
  11. Seal
  12. Heat oven - 6 hr, 45°C
  13. Remove and let cool
  14. Serve
