These homely Pizza Scrolls are dressed-down finger food for the family and guests. One of the few foods that somehow perfectly straddles the needs of hungry kids or party guests, the sweet and chewy nature of these treats will have everyone asking for seconds. When your scrolls are set up in the baking dish, experiment with additional toppings like bacon, vegetables or cheeses pushed into the crevices of each roll. This way you can add exciting variety to each one or cater for different tastes.

METHOD


  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Add cream cheese, self raising flour, soda water and parmesan cheese to the TM5 bowl
  3. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  4. Knead - approx 1 min, dough
  5. Flour a clean work surface
  6. Transfer dough to work surface
  7. Roll out into a rectangle
  8. Spread with tomato paste
  9. Spread with pesto evenly
  10. Sprinkle with onion, garlic clove and fresh basil
  11. Roll
  12. Cut into rounds
  13. Grease a clean ceramic baking dish
  14. Transfer dough to ceramic baking dish
  15. Add cherry tomatoes to the dough
  16. Add parmesan cheese to the dough
  17. Bake until light golden - 25 min, 160°C
  18. Serve
