These Thermomix Little Steamed Christmas Puds are perfect for hosting a Christmas dinner party. They're served individually, and can be left steaming for 45 minutes before serving immediately – so make the batter beforehand and simply pop them on 45 minutes before your final course. They make use of our Fruity Pear Mince recipe, and have the addition of dark chocolate for an extra layer of flavor, something your guests will definitely be curious about. Serve with cream or if you're feeing fancy, crème Anglaise.

METHOD


  1. Add orange, orange, lemon, lemon, Fruity Pear Mince, raisins, dried cranberries, dried apricots, brandy, mixed nuts and candied citrus peel to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Mix then set aside - approx 2 min, 70°C, reverse speed 1
  4. Cover with plastic wrap
  5. Leave overnight while stirring occasionally
  6. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to medium bowl
  7. Add unsalted butter, dark brown sugar and treacle to the TM5 bowl
  8. Blitz until light and fluffy - approx 30 sec, speed 4
  9. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  10. Add egg, all purpose flour, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, ground cloves and ground cardamom to the TM5 bowl
  11. Mix well - approx 20 sec, speed 5
  12. Transfer soaked fruit to TM5 bowl
  13. Add dark chocolate to the TM5 bowl
  14. Mix - approx 20 sec, reverse speed 4
  15. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to Dariole molds
  16. Add water to the TM5 bowl
  17. Set the varoma dish
  18. Arrange Dariole molds
  19. Steam - approx 45 min, varoma, speed 1
  20. Transfer content of Dariole molds to plate
  21. Serve
