This sweet, salty and addictive Festive Nut, Chocolate and Pretzel Mix is the perfect treat to have in bowls dotted around the house when hosting. Even to have on hand for pre-dinner drinks or as a snack for movie night, you'll try it once and love it forever. You will need a stand mixer, or some serious upper-body strength to beat the egg whites, but other than that it's quite a simple and quick process.

  1. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Add mixed nuts to the baking sheet
  3. Bake - 8 min, 200°C
  4. Transfer content of baking sheet to large mixing bowl
  5. Add pretzel pieces and sea salt to the large mixing bowl
  6. Mix
  7. Add butter, maple syrup, dark brown sugar, ground ginger, ground cinnamon and cayenne pepper to the TM5 bowl
  8. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  9. Cook - approx 5 min, varoma, speed 2
  10. Add egg white to a clean stand mixer bowl
  11. Beat
  12. Transfer egg whites to mixture
  13. Blend - approx 5 sec, speed 6
  14. Transfer mixture to large mixing bowl
  15. Stir evenly until coated
  16. Transfer content of large mixing bowl to baking sheet
  17. Bake - 8 min, 200°C
  18. Stir
  19. Transfer content of baking sheet to large serving bowl
  20. Let cool
  21. Stir in milk chocolate and raisins to the large serving bowl
  22. Serve
