This Curried Lentil Smash and Egg Naan Breakfast Roll is the cure to the overly-familiar recipes we eat so often. A savory dish that combines earthy flavors, bright creamy spread, and an abundance of fragrance topped with a classic breakfast ingredient – a perfectly cooked, runny golden egg. This will change your breakfasts forever.

  1. Add onion, garlic clove, fresh garlic, extra virgin olive oil and fresh chives to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Chop - approx 4 sec, speed 5
  4. Cook - approx 5 min, varoma, speed 5
  5. Then add curry paste to the TM5 bowl
  6. Cook - approx 5 min, varoma, speed 1
  7. Then add green lentils, ground turmeric, tomato paste and water to the TM5 bowl
  8. Cook - approx 50 min, 100°C, reverse speed 1
  9. Then add lemon juice to the TM5 bowl
  10. Stir until combined - gentle stir
  11. Combine cream cheese, chili flakes and green onion with a clean small bowl then set aside
  12. Add naan to a clean work surface
  13. Pre-heat a clean frying pan - medium-high heat
  14. Add egg to the frying pan
  15. Fry until crispy
  16. To assemble, spread some of the cream cheese spread onto each naan, top with the lentil curry and a fried egg
  17. Season with sea salt to taste
