Our Chilled Vanilla and Orange Dessert Cups are a quirky reimagining of Mexico's "gelatina de leche" – which harks from a time where gelatine was a key ingredient in almost every meal. Not quite the peak of culinary achievements; but inspired us nonetheless to create a custard based, layered and chilled dessert. The dual tones of golden cream and tangerine jelly radiate Summer vitality, and are of course, best served in transparent glasses in order to enjoy the distinct layers. The only time obligation here is to wait for the layers to set, so take some time in advance before serving.
