Our Thermamix chicken and basil stir fry is a healthy alternative to traditional stir frying methods, without compromising on flavor. This recipe uses fragrant ingredients to pack a punch in a pinch. Fresh chilli, fish sauce and basil all come together to make a tasty umami dish, that is family friendly and just as good as ordering in, without the guilt. Feel free to get creative and add your favorite vegetables, or serve with courgetti for a low-carb option.

METHOD


  1. Add garlic clove, onion, fresh chili and extra virgin olive oil to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Chop - approx 5 sec, speed 5
  4. Sauté - approx 5 min, varoma, speed 1
  5. Add cornflour, white pepper and ground chicken to a clean large mixing bowl
  6. Stir thoroughly until well combined then set aside
  7. Add carrot, fish sauce and tamari to the TM5 bowl
  8. Mix - approx 5 min, varoma, reverse speed 1
  9. Then add zucchini to the TM5 bowl
  10. Transfer chicken to TM5 bowl
  11. Mix - approx 10 min, varoma, speed 1
  12. Season to taste
  13. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to large serving bowl
  14. Add noodles to the large serving bowl
  15. Garnish with fresh basil and fresh chili
