This Chicken and Potato Salad has a little bit of everything. Warm potatoes are the foundation for this assortment of ingredients, which is a nice switch-up from its traditional cold serving – creates more of a meal feeling than a side dish feeling. Peas and green beans add lightness and natural crunch, chicken and eggs are the protein-rich substance, black olives for salt and a drizzle of white wine for some tang. Great for meal prep as it works for lunches next-day too.

METHOD


  1. Add egg to the simmering basket
  2. Add water to the TM5 bowl
  3. Add baby potato and chicken breast to the varoma dish
  4. Add green beans to the varoma tray
  5. Steam - approx 22 min, varoma, speed 3
  6. Rinse eggs with ice water
  7. Peel then set aside
  8. Steam - approx 10 min, varoma, speed 3
  9. Transfer content of varoma dish to large mixing bowl
  10. Add red onion to the large mixing bowl
  11. Drizzle with white wine and let cool
  12. Transfer beans to large mixing bowl
  13. Add peas, black olives and walnuts to the large mixing bowl
  14. Stir in mayonnaise to the large mixing bowl
  15. Garnish with rosemary
  16. Serve
