Char Siu is a Chinese method of flavoring and preparing pork in Cantonese cuisine. It is a sweet and tacky marinade that renders pork moist on the inside and charred on the outside with heavenly spiced fragrance. Two things to note for our recipe, is that you will need some specific ingredients commonly found in your nearest Asian market, and up to 24 hours of marinating time in advance. As soon as the pork has been imbued with enough flavor, grill until crispy and cooked though. Don't forget to rest before serving (maybe 15 minutes).
