Pikelets are the love-child of pancakes and crumpets, and we have paired them with our Chai Cashew Nut Butter for a recipe that will absolutely stun you. Ideal for weekend breakfasts, they're sweet and fragrant, with rolled oats, coconut shavings and of course nuts for texture. Serve with plenty of fresh fruits and a drizzle of maple syrup for a breakfast that tastes much less healthy than it actually is.

METHOD


  1. Add egg, baking soda, white flour, milk, apple cider vinegar, shredded coconut, rolled oats, sea salt, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, allspice and Chai Cashew Nut Butter to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 10
  4. Add melted butter
  5. Blend - approx 5 sec, speed 6
  6. Allow mixture to stand for 30 minutes.
  7. Pre-heat a clean frying pan frying pan - 10 min, medium heat
  8. Dollop a little butter into the pan
  9. Melt
  10. Place spoonfuls of mixture into pan
  11. Cook frying pan evenly frying pan until light golden
  12. Serve with toppings of choice, hot or cold
